Work to Begin on Lagoon and Creek in Dieterich

Dieterich village board members heard this week that lagoon brush clearing will be starting soon, and that Larry Heuerman will be starting creek bank clearing work. The frozen conditions are permitting both projects to get underway.

The Board decided to purchase a utility trailer from Ruholl Trailers. A plat of property for EJ Water Cooperative will allow work on a maintenance facility. Easements were released for the work, which will take place in Dieterich Industrial Park East.

Board members voted to hire Connie Faught for contract mowing at the Dieterich Cemetery for $325 per mowing during the 2025 mowing season.

Village Clerk Brittny Gipson reminded that stickers are now available for non-highway vehicles for 2025.
