The expansion of the Children's Room at Effingham Public Library will be delayed until later this year.

Library Director Amanda McKay said the work will not be undertaken this winter, but will instead be finished during Summer Read. McKay said it will only be a few days project, so shouldn't delay any projects or programs.

The big news at this month's meeting was that the mortgage on the library building will be paid off this year. McKay said the news will allow the mortgage to be paid off before it re-sets.

The Board reviewed a marketing plan for the year, and approved the 2025 action plan.
