Dieterich village board members heard at this week's meeting that progress has been made on infrastructure projects.
The report is that work is almost completed on the East Section Street storm sewer project and on the Safe Routes to School project. Also, the plan is that bids will be sought for the demolition of another home on the village's flood hazard mitigation project.
The Board is also working with IDOT on the resurfacing of Main Street from Illinois Route 33 south to Church Street. The project is supposed to be on the April state bid letting. A one-year extension was approved on completing a home on a lot in Hartke Subdivision, and approval was given on pothole work from EJ Water Cooperative.
