Brownstown school board members Monday hired Samuel Alli as junior/senior high school principal for the coming school year.

Alli will succeed Jeff Wooters as principal.

The Board also approved a memorandum of understanding with the Brownstown Educational Support Personnel Association to add a Transportation Director and Maintenance position to the current collective bargaining agreement, then hired Michelle Dial to fill that position for the balance of the school year.

Board members also accepted a letter of retirement from Suzanne Stinebring and employed Avyree Scholes as an elementary teacher for the balance of the school year.

The Board passed the tax levy for the fiscal year, and abated the levy for bonds for 2025.
