(KEPPLER)

A Farina man has been sentenced to prison on drug charges.

59-year-old Kent A. Keppler Monday pled guilty to two counts of unlawful possession with intent to deliver methampetamine. While the same offense is involved in both charges, the offenses stem from separate cases.

Judge Chad Miller sentenced Keppler to 12 years in prison on each count, but the sentences will run concurrently.

Members of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at Keppler's residence located near Farina in March of 2023. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of methamphetamine, along with more than $5,000 in cash that authorities contend were drug proceeds.
