The Brownstown school district plans to hold registration for the coming school year on Thursday, August 1 from 8am to 6pm in the elementary school cafeteria.
Registration fees are $95 for those in Grades K-6, and $120 for those in Grades 7-12. Other fees are $7 for OKAW Area Vocational Center; $50 for drivers education; and $17 for a PE uniform.
Dual credit courses will cost $111.60 for Biology II and $41.85 for Strategies for Success.
Brownstown High School, Brownstown Junior High School and Brownstown Elementary School are implementing a new option available to students participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Option for the coming school year. Schools that participate are able to provide healthy breakfasts and lunches each day at no charge for all students enrolled in that CEO school during the coming school year.
Grades K-12 students will pay 35 cents for extra milk, and 75 cents for an extra entree.
