One Person Injured in Thursday Night Crash

Details are now available regarding a single-vehicle crash in Lucas Township Thursday night.

Effingham County Sheriff's Office reported that an Ingraham man was injured in the crash, which occurred at 6:58pm on 2300th Street, a quarter-mile south of 300th Avenue in the southeast part of the county. 

45-year-old Joshua Lister was traveling south when his vehicle hydroplaned on the rainy night and Lister's vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle came to rest in a ditch.

Lister was taken by Rural Med EMS to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

No citations were issued.
