Pickup Truck, ATV Collided Saturday at Watson (UPDATE)

A pickup truck and an ATV collided at Watson Saturday morning.

Illinois State Police report the crash happened at 11:31am on Illinois Route 37 at Maple Road. 

Police say the operator of the four-wheeler, 18-year-old Cody Chasteen of Effingham, was airlifted from the scene with what were termed serious injuries. Chasteen's ATV collided with a pickup truck driven by 50-year-old Tim Wilson of Mason. Wilson did not report any injuries at the scene.

The highway was re-opened at 12:47pm.
