There will be contested races in both the village trustee and village president elections in Teutopolis in the spring. There will also be a three-way race for mayor in Altamont.

In Altamont, someone will be chosen to fill out the final two years of Dan Milleville, who resigned the office earlier this year. Those who filed by the Monday deadline include Mike Walker, who is serving as acting mayor, former Altamont council member Todd Slingerland, and Richard Finn.

Whoever is elected will fill out the balance of Milleville's term, which ends on April 30, 2027.

In Teutopolis, all of the incumbents filed for another term. For Village President, that includes incumbent David Repking and challenger Tina Thompson. For Village Trustee, that includes the three incumbents...Dave Tegeler, Greg Oseland and Angela Kroeger, as well as three challengers...Scott Overbeck, Robin Imburgia and Brian Meyer.

The 2025 election will also include several other races, including school board and community college board. They have different filing periods.
