"Spirit"ed Program at Noon Rotary

Effingham Noon Rotary learned about a new area business at their meeting November 13.

Barn and Bottle Winery is located near the intersection of US Route 40 and Illinois Route 128, west of Altamont. The winery bottles their own brands and grows their own grapes. Barn and Bottle Spokesman B.J. Voelker said the establishment is also available for hosting events.

Mike Kirchhoff served as Rotary weekly program chairman. 

Noon Rotary also hosted two student guests. Addison Nuxoll is the daughter of Deana and Greg Nuxoll and is a senior at St. Anthony High School. She has a wide variety of interests, both academically and athletically. She plans to attend college at either Mizzou or SIU Carbondale, then continue to veterinary school. 

Kathryn Wrigley is the daughter of Tiffiny and Pat Wrigley and is a senior at St. Anthony High School. Kathryn is a high honor student as well as a varsity athlete. She plans to attend St. Louis University or SIU Carbondale and plans to pursue her doctorate with a focus on Emergency Medicine.
