Harris Releases Additional Information on Fayette County Death

Citing "numerous rumors and unfounded Facebook posts", Fayette County Coroner David Harris has released additional information on the death of William "Aaron" Sides on Monday.

An autopsy held Thursday in Springfield confirmed that Sides died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Harris shared that on scene and forensic evidence, as well as the autopsy, confirmed that the death was self-inflicted.

Harris said that people should not be posting on Facebook or other social media "their personal opinions of what happened to someone. This is a terrible injustice to their loved ones and their friends."
