Regional Office of Education Recognized for Alternative Education Strategies

The Regional Office of Education for this area has been honored by the National Alternative Education Association for successfully implementing exemplary practices in alternative education.

The recognition follows a three-year collaboration between the Regional Office and the NAEA to adopt and execute innovative strategies aimed at improving outcomes for students who face challenges in traditional school settings.

Regional Office of Education #3 serves Fayette, Effingham, Montgomery, Bond and Christian counties. Julie Wollerman serves as Superintendent for Regional Office #3.
