Local Resident Arrested for Marion County Drug Charges

A resident with local ties was arrested on drug charges out of Marion County.

21-year-old Brooklyn K. Rueger of Effingham was arrested Friday on a Marion County warrant charging failure to appear on Class X Felony counts of methamphetamine trafficking, possession with intent to deliver meth, possession of meth, and possession of controlled substances.

Rueger was arrested for violating conditions of pre-trial release. She was sanctioned to seven days in jail for the violations. 

Rueger, who now lists a home address of Assumption, is due in court on October 29 for a review pre-trial.
