Stewardson-Strasburg school board members discussed the levy for the new fiscal year at this week's meeting.

The Board purchased a 2019 model 14-passenger activity bus for $67,360, and discussed a $50,000 maintenance grant offered by the State with a local match, with a junior high air conditioning project discussed.

Board members hired Josh Dandurand as a substitute bus driver. They heard from high school principal Cody McCollum on the drumline and band performing in parades and on the upcoming national FFA convention, and also heard from grade school principal Penny Hill on the junior high ECO team finishing first in competition and about Gavin Kowalczyk being selected to the ILMEA All-District junior high band.
