Altamont Board Discusses 4th Grade Enrollment

Altamont school board members Tuesday were updated by grade school principal Kris Biggs on the student population.

Biggs specifically discussed enrollment at the fourth grade level, where the class continues to be at capacity. The matter will be an agenda item at the November board meeting.

Altamont Superintendent Casey Adam continued a conversation about foreign language requirements from the State.

The Altamont board employed Sabrena Florida as a grade school paraprofessional, and hired Justin Goeckner as 5th grade basketball coach.

The Board welcomed FFA officers who presented on chapter events including the National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis.
