Teutopolis Village Board Approves Tax Levy

Teutopolis village board members have passed the tax levy for the fiscal year, retroactive to the start of the year on May 1.

The Board also approved a Tax Increment Financing payout to Brumleve Properties, and discussed but took no action on the purchase of utility mapping software. Action was delayed until information is obtained on the cost of the software.

The Board also set Trick or Treat for Friday evening, October 25 from 6 to 8pm, and acted on an engineering agreement for Phase 2 sidewalks in Prairie View Subdivision.

Board members also heard that the village is down to the final three lots in Prairie View Subdivision. Village Board President Dave Repking said closings are scheduled on the last two houses, and that seven spec houses are to be constructed.
