Frank Brummer has completed a hike of the Appalachian Trail.

The entrepreneur and adventurer began the climb in the Spring of 2004, but never lost sight of his goal and shared earlier this year that he was completing the hike this year.

The journey is 2,197 miles, beginning on Springer Mountain in Georgia. The trail south to north concludes on Mt. Katahdin in Maine, and that's where Brummer ended his hike.

Brummer has hiked and bicycled many miles throughout the nation. He was also one of the prime forces behind Effingham's TREC Trail.
