Teutopolis Man Fatally Injured in Vehicle-Motorcycle Collision

A Teutopolis man was fatally injured in a crash on Keller Drive in Effingham over the noon hour Monday.

Effingham City Police Chief Jason McFarland said 27-year-old Dale T. Davis was operating a motorcycle that collided with a motor vehicle on Keller at Midtowne Boulevard at 12:24pm. Davis was pronounced dead. The driver of the motor vehicle, 37-year-old Pyo J. Namkus of New Providence, New Jersey, was cited for failure to yield.

The Effingham Police Department and the Effingham County Coroner's Office are investigating the accident.
