Structures Hit by Falling Trees in Effingham Friday Night

The storms that struck the Effingham area Friday night included trees falling on two structures.

A house at 908 West Franklin Avenue suffered significant damage when a large tree fell through the roof. No one was injured. Work was underway Monday to get rid of the debris and to start repairs on the house.

Another tree struck a mobile home in Easy Breeze Mobile Home Park about 20 minutes after the incident on Franklin. Again, no injuries were reported.
