Pray For America Event Today

The Effingham Area Right To Life is holding the Pray For America event today.  The observance will be at the Cross at the Crossroads, beginning at 6:00pm.

Christians are invited to join together with the goal of bringing together the Effingham and surrounding communities in praying and fasting for 40 days before the November 5th election.

The one-hour gathering will include scripture reading, singing, praying (including bilingual prayers), with pastors and musicians, all with the goal of uniting to seek God's guidance.

Pastor Michal Rosa, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Effingham 

Pastor Marcus Manley, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Altamont

Pastor Juan Carlos Ruiz, St. Isidore Catholic Church, Bishop Creek/Island Grove & Hispanic minister (Bilingual Prayers)

The Cross is at 1900 Pike Avenue in Effingham.

In case of rain, the event will be moved into the Welcome Center.
