Early Voting for 2024 Election Begins Thursday

Effingham County Clerk Michelle Kollmann has announced that registered voters can cast a ballot prior to the November 5th general election beginning this Thursday, September 26.

Early Voting will be conducted in the Benwood Conference Room, 1st Floor, of the Effingham County Office Building at 101 North 4th Street in Effingham.

Illinois State Statutes prohibit a person who votes during early voting from voting at the polls on Election Day. The votes cast during the early voting time period will not be tabulated until the polls close on Election Day.

For the November 5, 2024 General Election, Early Voting will be conducted from Thursday, September 26, through Monday, November 4, from 8am to 4pm and on Saturday, November 2 from 8am to 12 noon.
