Cowden-Herrick School Board Meets for September Session

Cowden-Herrick school board members approved a trip to the FFA National Convention in Indianapolis during this month's meeting.

The Board also approved the budget for the school year, and agreed to invest $2,312,044.41 in a 10-month CD with United Fidelity Bank at 5.23% interest.

The Board reviewed the district's bullying policy and no changes were deemed necessary.

Cowden-Herrick board members employed Katy Noble as junior high volleyball coach and Abby Sloan as volunteer assistant coach. The Board also approved an unpaid leave of absence for Crystal Wehrle through the first semester of the current school year.
