Brownstown School Board Holds September Session

Brownstown school board members approved the school district budget for the coming fiscal year, and also handled several personnel matters.

The Board accepted resignations from Logan Mahon as a junior high Math and Science teacher and from Jane Hammock as a 1:1 paraprofessional aide. Those employed were Lily Bales as a high school Special Education teacher, Angela Wyatt as a junior high Math and Science teacher, and from Kaylin McGee as a 1:1 paraprofessional aide.

The Board approved continued participation in the Mid-West Truckers Association Drug and Alcohol Consortium; the risk management plan for the school year; a health service agreement with Paula Gephart; a secure entry system update to the Ag building; and to invest district funds in a CD.
