Effingham High School will celebrate Homecoming this coming week.

This year's Homecoming Theme is "A Night in the Stars".

Homecoming activities by day:

MONDAY--Special kickoff welcome for students before school--passing out treats...it'll be PJ Day...Special Homecoming Week Library Activities--Spirit Rock Painting and EHS Yearbook Scavenger Hunt, Spirit Button Making, and the First Annual EHS Scavenger Hunt; also, a Movie on the Turf at 7:15pm at Klosterman Field, showing "Home", the movie is free to all students

TUESDAY--it'll be Neon Day

WEDNESDAY--it'll be Country vs. Country Club Day...the Parade will step off at 6pm with retired Activities Director David Woltman as Parade Marshal...lineup along 2nd Street behind the library, travel west on Jefferson Avenue, then head south of Mulberry Street (NOT CHERRY STREET) to Grove Avenue, then west on Grove to EHS...the 2024 Powder Puff Game will begin at 7pm, following the parade...Powder Puff Game donations will go to the Effingham Imagination Library

THURSDAY--it'll be Anything but a Backpack Day (NO SHOPPING CARTS)...coronation practice at 7pm...voting on King and Queen on the Chamber during English class

FRIDAY--it'll be School Spirit Day...a Pep Assembly hosted by EHS Pep Club during the school day...Homecoming Game vs. Charleston at 7pm...coronation during halftime

SATURDAY--dance from 7 to 10pm in EHS Gym...dance tickets will be sold during lunch hours through the 25th, tickets will NOT be sold at the door, tickets are $10/each
