Teutopolis School Board Adopt Resolution on Use of School Facility Occupation Tax Revenue

Teutopolis school board members have approved a resolution for use of funds that would be generated if the County School Facility Occupation Tax is passed in November.

The resolution states that the funds would be used by the Teutopolis Board in the following manners and in this order of priorities:

First, such funds would be used for the annual abatement of property taxes to pay existing debt until the debt is paid in full

Second, such funds would be sed to pay for the prioritized general maintenance needs of current facilities

Third, such funds would be used to pay for the prioritized future facilty improvement needs of the district, and

Fourth, such funds would be used for the annual costs associated the School Resource Officer program, and mental health services.
