Our story about the arrest of a substitute teacher in the Shelbyville School District on Coles County charges of indecent solicitation of a child and possession of child pornography is a story that originally aired in 2023.

29-year-old Hayden Miller of Shelbyville was arrested and was held in the Shelby County Jail, then returned to the Coles County Jail at Charleston. Miller is now free on bond and is due in court on the charges in October.

He was an employee of the Shelbyville Community Unit School District #4.  School officials say State Police indicate none of Miller’s acts occurred on school property or during any school events.
