Teutopolis village board members Wednesday reviewed six proposals on developing a new comprehensive plan for the village.

Trustees decided to seek more information on the proposal received from the University of Illinois. Courtney Yockey of The Alliance is working with Teutopolis officials on the Comprehensive Plan project.

A representative of Farmweld was present to revisit the Village extending sidewalks east to their business. Trustees discussed extending sidewalks along the south side of Route 40 from St. Francis Township Road, east to Farmweld Avenue. No decision was reached. Village officials will contact Village Engineer Lee Beckman as to the cost of the project.

The village board also selected Allstate Insurance to provide employee health insurance coverage.
