City Street Resurfacing Work to Begin This Coming Week

The City of Effingham street resurfacing will begin in the coming week.

Resurfacing on West Clark Avenue and Old Maple Street will begin at 7am Tuesday, September 3. The work will affect West Clark from Banker Street to Old Maple Street, as well as Old Maple Street from West Clark Avenue to Maple Street. The work is expected to be finished by September 6.

Resurfacing is scheduled on West Clark Avenue beginning at 7am on Tuesday, September 3. The work will affect West Clark from Park Street to 4th Street. The work is expected to be finished by September 6.

Resurfacing is scheduled on Merchant Street beginning at 7am Wednesday, September 4. The work will affect Merchant Street from West Virginia Avenue to Temple Avenue. The work is expected to be finihsed by September 6.

City officials request that you help them complete the work quickly and safely by staying clear of all construction activity to the extent that is practical.
