Plans Announced for 2024 Rotary Halloween Parade

"Back to the 90s" will be the theme for the 2024 Effingham Halloween Parade to be held Sunday, October 27.

The parade will step off at 2 pm and is sponsored by the Effingham Sunrise Rotary. The procession will take place RAIN OR SHINE. 

Lineup for the parade will begin at 12 noon along Maple Street between Temple and Evergreen Avenues.

There will be a $20 entry fee for all entrees except veterans, school groups, fair queens, and emergency vehicles. Proceeds from the Sunrise Rotary Halloween Parade will benefit the Crisis Nursery Playground Project.

Groups, organizations, businesses and individuals interested in participating in the parade are asked to complete the entry form and return it to: Halloween Parade, c/o Nathan Earnest, 501 East Evergreen Avenue, Effingham, IL 62401. Forms are available at West and Company at 501 East Evergreen and the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce office at 903 North Keller Drive. Entry forms can also be found on the Chamber website calendar at www.effinghamcountychamber.com.
