IASB to Assist in Cumberland Superintendent Selection Process

Cumberland school board members voted this month to hire the Illinois Association of School Boards to assist with the hiring of the next district superintendent, with the addition of a stakeholder option.

Todd Butler is retiring as Cumberland superintendent as of the end of the school year.

In personnel moves, the Cumberland board employed Heather Oakley as a part-time grade school cook; approved the volunteer coaching list for the school year; employed Amy Carr as middle school assistant girls basketball coach; employed Jacob Venatta as middle school head boys basketball coach; employed Steve Maroon as middle school assistant boys basketball coach; employed Justin Roedl as head high school girls track coach; and employed Dustin Nickles as assistant high school boys basketball coach.
