North Clay Unit 25 School District is providing registration for the coming school year for all students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade today and tomorrow.
Registration will be taking place from noon to 7pm today (Tuesday) and from 10am to 1pm on Wednesday. The entire registration for all students will be held in the Commons area at the north end of the junior high. Parents and guardians may go to register at any time during those two days.
Forms are available on the North Clay district website to print, complete and sign, if you didn't pick up the forms at the school office.

The North Clay district is also looking to add to a new group formed to help fill the voids left by budget cuts.
Serving VIPs (Very Important People) is seeking volunteers that would like to be in the school working with or for the students on a semi-regular basis. Grandparents, retired teachers and even parents that have some time are invited to participate.
They have morning, noon and afternoon time slots available and specific areas in which you can choose to be a volunteer. You might help a child with reading or flash cards, help a child open their milk and stay focused on eating not playing during lunch, restocking books in the library or similar tasks.
Drop by the schools during registration today or tomorrow to let them know you're interested in helping. There is a form to fill out available on the District's website to drop off at the elementary/junior high school office. There is a membership fee of $59 that will cover your background check and fingerprinting. There will be orientation and training on August 1 for all volunteers.
