Teutopolis Ready for New School Year

Teutopolis school board members Monday set a hearing on the budget for the coming fiscal year. The hearing will take place at the September 16 board meeting.

In personnel moves, the Teutopolis board hired Zach Wolfe as grade school custodian; Dan Williams to work with Dan Niemerg on the high school spring musical; and Allie Deters, Melissa Habing, Jessica Borries, Michelle Niebrugge and Jenny Flynn as high school girls tennis coaches. Joe Niemerg was hired as a high school and junior high choir instructor; Bob Rynke as a high school volunteer boys golf coach; and Noah Hemmen as high school volunteer soccer coach.

The Board also approved through a memorandum of understanding the creation of a paid assistant boys golf coach for this school year and a second paid assistant high school volleyball coach for this school year.
