A delivery truck struck the overhang at Effingham Ambulatory Surgery Center on West Temple Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
The truck driver was leaving the Center and the truck struck an overhang that covers the area where patients are picked up after their procedures. No one was harmed and there was no damage to the interior of the building. However, a photo we have posted on the local newspage at 979XFM and KJ Country 102.3 shows some of the damage done to the overhang. You can see where the pillar doesn't line up to the roof.
Crews have already been called to make repairs to the overhang.
