No Foul Play Suspected in Death of Beecher City Man

No foul play is suspected in the death of a Beecher City man found dead by a neighbor.

The Effingham County Sheriff's Department summoned the Effingham County Coroner's Office to a residence in Beecher City early Sunday afternoon.  62-year-old Robert T. Johnson was found unresponsive and 911 was called, with Emergency Medical Services and Tri-County Fire Protection District responding.

A representative of the Coroner's Office pronounced Johnson dead at 3:15pm.  An investigation into the death will continue by the Coroner's Office but, again, no foul play is suspected.
