Injury Crash Tuesday at Banker and Fayette

One person was taken for treatment following a two-vehicle crash at Banker and Fayette Tuesday evening.

The crash happened at 4:28pm. Effingham City Police report a westbound vehicle driven by 18-year-old Chris Hooper of Effingham turned left onto Banker and was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by 62-year-old Jane Ruholl of Teutopolis. 

Hooper was injured and was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Hooper was cited for failure to yield.
