Neoga Student Killed in Four-Wheeler Crash

Another area teenager was fatally injured Monday in a four-wheeler accident.

14-year-old Graydon Mendenhall  was riding on his family's property when he was thrown off the vehicle. The vehicle landed on top of the boy. Coles County Deputy Coroner Greg Epperson said the boy was taken to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center where he was pronounced dead.

The incident some time after noon on Monday. 

Graydon was to be a freshman at Neoga in the coming school year.

A Go Fund Me page indicates that Schilling Funeral Home in Mattoon will assist the family.
