IASB to Assist Cumberland School Board in Selecting New Superintendent

Cumberland school board members heard about the superintendent search process at this month's meeting.

Tim Buss of the Illinois Association of School Boards spoke about the procedure. The IASB will develop a pool of candidates for the position. The Board will make the final decision as to who will succeed Todd Butler, who plans to retire following the coming school year.

The Cumberland board heard about various plans to get ready for the coming school year, and also voted to post the open position of part-time grade school cook.
