A third victim of Wednesday's UTV-Grain Hauler collision has been declared deceased by officials on Thursday.  Initial reports indicated 2 victims passed away as a result of the rural Strasburg accident.  Late Thursday, officials said that a third person who had been transported to a hospital, had also succombed to their injuries.

Officials have released the names of the victims:  Sienna R. Bostedo of Mode, Karly M. Wetherell of Stewardson, and Edie J. Wittenberg of Strasburg.

The driver of the Grain Hauler was uninjured.

With the three individuals being incoming freshmen students in the school district, Stewardson-Strasbug school officials held a gathering on Thursday afternoon.  This included counselors being available for students and staff of Stew-Stras, Trinity, and Windsor schools, as well as those closely connected.

Later in the evening, the entire surrounding commuity was invited to show support with a prayer vigil at Stew Stras High School Gym, with associated pasters leading the vigil..

In addition, out of respect for the victims and families, the Strasburg Homecoming events on Saturday have been cancelled, including the 5k Run and Tractor Pull.
