Dieterich School Board Appoints Frank Niemerg to Fill Vacancy

Dieterich school board members have filled a vacancy on the Board following the death of member Dan Niemerg.

The Board named Frank Niemerg to fill the vacancy at their meeting Monday night. He will serve until the next school board election on April 8, 2025.

Board members also approved repairs to an electrical line to the baseball press box. The cost of the repairs will be shared with K. Wohltman Construction. The Board also approved the high school boys basketball trip to Holiday World on July 23-25; accepted the resignation of Tami Hetzer as an aide; approved Brooklyn Herman as student teacher in the elementary school for the Fall of 2024; and approved an amendment to Scott Kocher's principal contract to include a stipend for the senior class trip.
