Fayette County Authorities Investigating Weekend Deaths

Fayette County authorities are investigating deaths that occurred in recent days.

Late Friday morning, the Fayette County Coroner's Office responded to an in-home death north of Bingham. 73-year-old Donald J. Hart was pronounced dead.

Just after 3pm Friday, Vandalia police dispatched Fayette County Coroner David Harris to a home in Vandalia where 27-year-old Jordan Losier was found dead. The death remains under investigation by the Coroner's Office, Vandalia Police Department, and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. 

Vandalia police dispatched Harris to a Vandalia residence mid-afternoon Saturday. Harris found 27-year-old Blake M. Sefton dead at the residence. 

The Coroner's Office and Vandalia Police Department are continuing their investigation into the death. Officers from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
