4th of July Celebrations Wrap Up Saturday in Farina

The final observance in the area related to the 4th of July holiday will be held Saturday in Farina.

Farina Village Park will be the headquarters for the celebration.

Food stands and a beer garden will open at noon. Registration for the parade will begin at 2pm, with the parade stepping off at 3pm.

An Elite Tumble and Cheer squad will perform from 3:45 to 5pm, and inflatables, pony rides, kids games and Bingo will all begin at 4pm. A cake walk will begin at 5pm.

Also at 5pm, the official celebration will begin with the National Anthem. Katie Hatch will perform from 5:15 to 7:30pm, and John Spicer and Friends will follow from 7:45 to 9:15pm. A drawing for prizes will begin at 9:15pm, followed by fireworks at 9:30pm. John Spicer and Friends will be back to close out the night at 10pm.
