Louisville resident Dylan Hampton has been sentenced to prison for violating the terms and conditions of his probation.

The 34-year-old Hampton had been placed on two years' probation in February for domestic battery. As a term of his probation, he was not to use alcohol, but tested positive for alcohol use in April.

During a court hearing this week, Judge Joel Powless sentenced Hampton to four years in prison. Hampton will serve four years' mandatory supervised release once out of prison.
