OOHS and AAHS at Fireworks Display

Plenty of OOHS and AAHS were heard Thursday during the 2024 Effingham Community Fireworks Display.

J&M Displays presented the fireworks show, which was sponsored by the Effingham Noon Rotary along with the City of Effingham and a host of other donors. The Effingham High School outdoor athletic complex was again the scene for the display.

Dieterich had its community fireworks display on Thursday night, and those fireworks followed the show at Lake Sara Wednesday night. A reminder about the Farina exhibit this Saturday night at 9:30pm.

Classic Hits 979XFM and KJ Country 102.3 aired patriotic music during the 9pm hours both Wednesday and Thursday nights to accompany the fireworks displays in the area.
