Dieterich Bank has announced a donation of $50,000 to the Teutopolis Park District.
The District has been awarded an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development Grant by the State of Illinois in the amount of $346,500 and has launched a campaign to raise matching funds.
The bank's contribution will support planned improvements to the Teutopolis Community Park which include new playground equipment, tennis court resurfacing, pavilion updates, ball diamond updates, and batting cages.
“Dieterich Bank is eager to support the Teutopolis community in this endeavor,” said Jason Semple, CEO of Dieterich Bank. “The park and the park district play a vital role in the community by hosting numerous sporting events and is the site of many gatherings, physical activities, and family fun. The bank’s goal and part of the bank’s mission statement is to be a community bank whose communities appreciate its presence. The bank strives to give back to the community via monetary donations as well as volunteerism exemplifying the Dieterich Bank Difference. The Teutopolis Park District and the services it provides aligns well with the types of organizations the bank aims to support.”
