Work Continues on Plans for LLC Effingham Technology Center

(THE FORMER PATTERSON TECHNOLOGY CENTER)

Work continues to renovate the former Patterson Technology Center in Effingham into Lake Land College's Effingham Technology Center. The renovation was a chief topic at a meeting of the college Board of Trustees Building and Grounds Committee.

The general layout will feature:

LOWER LEVEL--Patterson Dental lease space

LEVEL ONE (GROUND FLOOR)--Effingham Regional Career Academy

LEVEL TWO--Kluthe Center operations

The goal is to bring construction bids before the Lake Land College Board of Trustees at their August meeting. The construction timetable is to have the Effingham Regional Career Academy operational by the start of Spring 2025 Semester, and the Kluthe Center operations in place by the start of Fall 2025 Semester.
