Dieterich Village Officials Continue Work on Infrastructure Matters

Dieterich village officials continue with infrastructure improvements.

One project is an expansion of the north parking lot for the Wright Family Center. The expansion adjoins a quad plex residential structure. Board members decided to add stairs and railing for the structure.

Board members also heard that another six to eight names have been added to the Veterans Memorial Wall by Liberty Memorial Park. A decision was also reached to keep the village's storm siren for now. Upkeep costs are a consideration, and village officials say they are not required to have the siren in place, but the decision was reached to maintain the siren for now.

Board members also agreed to contribute their share of matching funds for village's Safe Routes to School project, and agreed to contribute their share of dues to The Alliance.
