Dieterich School Board Updates Fiscal Year Budget

Dieterich school board members this week approved the amended budget for the current fiscal year, and renewed property/casualty/liability insurance coverage at a 17.12% increase over last year's premium.

The Board also approved the purchases of gym door graphics, junior high and high school softball uniforms, an automatic floor scrubber, student chairs and lab stools, two used fullsize buses and a 14-passenger activity bus, and a new sound system for the high school gym.

Board members awarded a proposal for audit services to Kemper CPA Group; granted the support staff and principals a 5.75% pay increase for the coming school year; and hired Maria Hanratty as an aide for the coming school year.
