Area Chambers of Commerce to Receive Back to Business Grant Funds

Governor Pritzker has announced the award of $5 million in Back to Business grants to chambers of commerce in the state.

The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce will receive $14,898.40. A statement released with the award announcement indicated "local chambers of commerce play a vital role in supporting businesses across Illinois. Funding will be used by chambers of commerce to market and develop localities to help small businesses with professional development and more. The goal is to support small businesses and entrepreneurs while bolstering economic development".

Jasper County Chamber of Commerce will receive $13,005.14 in funds, while Greater Fayette County Chamber of Commerce located in Vandalia will receive a Back to Business grant of $5,000.
