Clay County Board Approves Health Department Budget

Clay County board members Tuesday approved the county health department budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1. The budget totals $5,277,280.

The Board reappointed Dr. Mike Klingler, Cathy Croy, Chris Boyd and Dr. Scott Suntrup to the County Board of Health.

Clay board members also renewed the Clay County Sheriff's Office contract with the Village of Louisville; and approved a new three-year public defender contract with Chris Elliott. Under state statutre, the Public Defender is paid 90% of the State's Attorney's salary.
