Names Released of Those Killed in Coles County Crash

The names have been released of those killed in a three-vehicle collision Sunday evening in Coles County.

Coles County Coroner Ed Schniers said the three people killed included a four-month-old from Tennessee as well as the infant's mother, 22-year-old Ivone Albert of Tennessee, and the driver, 23-year-old Ramadhani Musa of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The southbound car driven by Musa was passing a line of southbound vehicles when it collided with a pickup truck and a SUV traveling northbound. The driver of the SUV was airlifted to a regional hospital with what were termed life threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
